"Running a band, is like running a business..."
Bethany spent her early years growing up surrounded by talented musicians. Her grandparents had their own orchestra for 30 years, her father was a lifelong musician and her family ran a local drum and bugle corps. She's never been a musician herself but has always had a passion for music. From 2007 until 2014 Bethany was a local on air personality for the Monadnock Radio Group. She spent her mornings as co-host on 98.7 Wink Country and as the mid-day host on 103.7 KNE-FM. She was also a social media correspondent for CMchat, a nationally-recognized country music website. Every week she would interview country artists live over the internet as well as going down to Nashville to do interviews from the red carpet at the CMT Music Awards, GAC Breakfast Series and at the Riverfront for Chevy during CMA Fest. In 2014 Bethany left her job at the radio group to become the Northeast Regional Promotions Director for Sidewalk/Curb Records representing new and upcoming country artists Dylan Scott and Ruthie Collins. Wanting to spend more time at home she took a job back here in NH.
After introducing April to her boyfriend Nate who just happened to be a talented drummer, The April Cushman band started to come together. It seemed to be a natural progression for Bethany to move into the role of band manager. Running a band is like running a business and it allows musicians to do what they do best.
